This was a huge celebration of love with two families coming together all the way from Namibia and South Africa to celebrate the love of two people. Their reception was filled with loads of fun having guests interact with each other, playing every game in the book you can think of. For Lizelle this day was very emotional being fortunate enough to have her mother at her side to celebrate her big day, as not long after the wedding her mom passed away. I included a few pictures in my blog of her and her mother sharing a special moment together and this is just my way of honouring and remembering her. Being part of something so heart felt made me as a photographer realise how important these precious times are, and capturing them on camera is one way of keeping the memory alive. X
